ABOUT PRF

PRF stands for Platelet Rich Fibrin. Platelet-Rich Fibrin, or PRF, is a 100% natural injectable treatment made from your own blood. It’s often called a “natural filler” because it uses your body’s platelets, growth factors, and fibrin matrix to naturally plump, rejuvenate, and restore volume without synthetic products.

What is it

During the treatment, a small amount of your blood is drawn and spun at a low speed to concentrate the healing cells. This creates a soft, gel-like fibrin matrix that is injected into areas such as the under-eyes, cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds, and acne scarring. PRF releases growth factors over time, improving skin quality, tightening, boosting collagen, and gradually adding natural volume. Unlike traditional fillers, PRF improves your skin from the inside out enhancing firmness, texture, color, elasticity, and overall youthfulness in the most natural way possible.

How it works

After a PRF treatment, you can expect mild swelling, tenderness, or a feeling of fullness in the treated area for 1–3 days. Some clients experience light bruising or redness, which usually resolves quickly. The area may feel slightly tight or puffy as the fibrin matrix settles in—this is completely normal. Most people return to their normal routine immediately with no downtime required. Results begin to appear around 3–4 weeks and continue improving for several months as collagen builds naturally.

FAQs

  • Unlike synthetic fillers, PRF is derived from your own blood, making it a natural alternative. It not only fills volume loss but also improves skin texture and elasticity by encouraging the body's own healing processes.

  • Most clients find PRF treatments very tolerable, and discomfort is generally minimal. Because PRF is made from your own blood, there’s no burning or stinging sensation like some synthetic fillers may cause. You may feel a quick pinch from the needle and a bit of pressure during the injection, especially in sensitive areas like the under-eyes.

To keep you comfortable, a topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, and injections are done gently and slowly. After the treatment, you may feel a little fullness, warmth, or tenderness, but this typically resolves within a day or two.

  • Recovery from PRF injections is very minimal. Most clients experience some mild swelling, tenderness, or a feeling of fullness for 1–3 days, especially in sensitive areas like the under-eyes or lips. Bruising can happen but is usually small and resolves within a few days.

You can return to normal activities immediately, but it’s best to avoid heavy sweating, makeup, alcohol, or intense workouts for 24 hours. Because PRF works by stimulating your body’s own healing, results improve gradually over several weeks.

  • PRF works gradually because it relies on your body’s natural healing and collagen-building processes. Most clients begin to notice improvements—such as smoother texture, better color, and reduced hollowness—around 3–4 weeks after treatment. Results continue to improve over the next 8–12 weeks as collagen strengthens and the fibrin matrix releases growth factors.

For under-eyes, acne scarring, and skin rejuvenation, a series of 2–4 sessions spaced one month apart typically gives the best outcome.

  • PRF results are long-lasting because they come from your body’s own collagen and tissue regeneration. Most clients enjoy results for 6 to 12 months, depending on the area treated, lifestyle, and individual healing. Under-eye improvements and skin texture changes often last closer to a year because PRF strengthens the tissue over time.

Because PRF does not contain synthetic filler material, it builds gradually. Many clients choose 2–4 sessions to achieve full results and then schedule maintenance treatments once or twice a year to keep the area smooth, firm, and refreshed.
